Following the two hours of dialogue, Coum: i on otudent

to minority students, she said, and few white students attend
cultural weeks sponsored by minority group-, ;o -how the

Minority students feel alienated on the 'J ML campus,
Merrill said. "Even if there were only one black student on this
campus and the university failed to meet his needs, then it
couldn't claim to be functioning effectively," she added.

Affairs, instead of placing them only in Minority Affairs.
Encouraging minority students to becon e involved in

Enforcing university rules and those m ioo l.y campus
organizations equally for both white and nonwhde siudentv
