He said he does not think students have as great a feeling
of counter establishment concerning the relevancy of
classes that they had in the late '60s and early "70s. a
feeling that might have urged them to participate more in
NFU. This may be a reason for the decline in participation,
he said.
"'I he success of the program depends on Mowlclts
abiht) to organie. publicie and let individuals know what
is going on." Uader said. "If he has done this. I think his
optimism towaid the Nl U is justified."
"I feel good about the publicity it is getting, the
inquiries I have had from the community and the return ol
many courses to the dorms, he said.
The effects of his work will be unknown until tomorrow
when NFU registration begins.
"Maybe out of desperation Tin being optimistic," he
said.
He will have to wait to see if people lake advantage of
the free stuff.
