Bang the Drum sad but corny
Th?r 1 are some movies that are so
nice, so harm less and often so well
receiv?d by the public that a person
can nuts trying to say something
critically intelligent about them.
B-jog the Drum Slowly is one of
these rroviei. It is the story of a big

Movigkin's Urease. It is obviously so

At the start of the baseball season,
Pearson is a laughed-at and heckled
third-string catcher. But after the team
finds out about his sickness, he
becomes a starter and miraculously the
team pulls together and makes it to
the World Series.
Because of its well-handled and
humorous look at the world inside the
dugout, Bang the Drum Slowly is a
better baseball story than a tear jeikor.
