The result is 20 happy k.ds. 20 pioud families, a handful of pleased teacheis and three days of film entertainment. "Movies made by kids" will open the fifth annual University summer sessions educational media festival ot Sheldon Ait Galleiy auditorium today, tomonow and Thui sday. "Movies Mt)de by Kids" aie films produced during a six-week woikshop which ended July 13 ut Belmont School. The workshop is a Cooperative Schools (Training Teachers of Teachers) ptojoct. Workshop fun "I'd thought it'd (workshop) be- fun and it has been1" Lee Doudney vnd. Ten-year-old Lee is one of the dspming film producers whose work will be shown dt the festival. Lee said he had learned a little about f'lm making this past school year at Belmont School and tlu.-t he'd lil-e to become a news photogi aphet or a film producerdii ector. Lee's movie which will be shown at the festival is an avant gaide film He tries hard to act modest, but he is bursting with pride arid enthusiasm. "The major reason for the festival is to expose and show what kids am producing," said James Butetbaugh, director of the Instructional Mcd-a Center.
