We have retained a local attorney who will be helping us with the bringing this Corporation to justice and hopefully the returning of student tenants' money paid for damage deposits, maintenance costs, utilities, etc. Another important enterprise we have been working on is the possibility of maintaining a Student Lawyer. We have studied the Student Lawyer programs on other campuses and are trying to decide how this program might be fianced. Once we have some of the technical problems ironed-out- we will draft a proposal for the program and submit it to the various administrative bodies for their approval. At this time, the Student Lawyer project has been temporarily tabled until we can settle some problems with the litigation on behalf of UNL student tenants.
