For the session starting Fall, 1973, the European Medical Students Placement
Service, Inc. will assist qualified American students in gaining admission to rec
ognized overseas medical schools.
And that's Just the beginning.
Since the language barrier constitutes the
preponderate difficulty in succeeding at a
foreign school, the Euromed program also
includes an intensive 8 12 week medical
and conversational language course, man
datory for all students. Five hours daily, the
course is given in the country where the stu
dent will attend medical school, .
In addition, the European Medical Students
Placement Service provides students with
an 8-12 week intensive cultural orienta
tion course, with American students now
studying medicine In that particular country
serving as counselors.
Senior or graduate students currently en
rolled in an American university are eligible'
to participate in the Euromed program.
Perhaps most important, the Euromed Pro
gram helps the student attain his career
goal in the medical profession.
" would like to thank you for providing me
with the opportunity to fulfill my goal of
becoming a doctor . , . I believe that your
program holds a great deal of hope for the
future . , . in opening doors for many young
Americans . . . and in aiding the U.S. in Ita
critical shortage of doctors."
from a letter from a Euromed participant
We have helped place a number of qualified
students from New York State in recognized
