Spanish students offered
written, oral course option
Students taking Spanish in the College of Arts and Sciences
now can choose between a primarily written or primarily oral
course to complete the second and third semesters of their
language group requirement.
The college's Curriculum Committee this week accepted the
oral course as an alternative. Currently only the Spanish
department offers the choice, according to Arts and Sciences
Student Advisory Board member Tom Weist.
Weist said he believed the French and German departments
were considering a parallel program.
