Record store
offers discount
on stereo prices
Students will soon be able to buy stereos at
reduced prices from the ASUN Record Store, if
everything goes as planned.
According to Chris McElroy, store manager,
the store plans to sell stereos for less than
downtown establishments. The store also hopes
to sell used stereos and other equipment such as
headphones.
McElroy said the store also plans to offer a
stereo repair service.
A non-profit corporation, the record store
sells albums for about 20 cents less than
downtown stores, he said.
McElroy said he hopes to expand the store's
inventory by about $2,500, pending approval
of the ASUN budget.
