And so does ASUN Environmental Task Force chairman Bill Freudenburg. i' Freudenburg said Tuesday that the University Grounds Department will be collecting newsprint-the paper the Daily Nebraska n is printed on-twice weekly from the barrels. The paper will be recycled. He stressed that sticking trash in the tbarcejj might short-circuit the recycling project. Currently, the newsprint is recycled by a local paper company that pays the University for the paper. However, Freudenburg warned that the paper company could stop buying tha paper if there's too much trash in it. Although the University is paid for the used newsprint, Freudenburg said: "Technically speaking, the University is taking a loss (of money) because of tha time it takes maintenance people to service the barrels. It's a good way the University is showing its commitment to improving the environment." Freudenberg said the Grounds Department was very cooperative in helping set up the project. He said the green barrels are located in the Nebraska Union, East Union, dormitories and come classroom buildings. . &LL ROUNDTRlP JET CHARTER SERVICE LINCOLN London- Dec.27-jan i6-Si9p ,ift Rome or Athens - Dec 20-Jan. 16; $259 'r- Study cppcwturvbeS IP EN&USH,USlC47DURhJAUSMyEO.APMIM., ARCHITECTURE ,GEMAM, PoU SCI., SOCIOLOGY, CRIM1NOLO6Y- viA extension! twistoM, Arrangements nav include transfers, lod&ing, meals, etc. Special option for one week skiing -Switzerland PICK UP ADDITIONAL I M FORMATION!
