ELECTRONICS Student asks for CSL ag seat by Adella Wacker Agriculture College student Phi Lamb told the Council on Student Life (CSL) Thursday night that . he was not asking for immediate action, but relayed the concern and support of East Campus students for representation on CSL. Petitions have been circulated to measure that support, he reported. It was found last week that amended CSL membership rules recommend one East Campus student be included on the council. He further said he did not think the one CSL member from an East Campus living unit represented those colleges. That member, Bill Crom, is a pharmacy major. 'The people who use the facilities should be represented," Lamb said. He also said that a planned resolution on the issue couldn't be presented to ASUN Senate Wednesday because of the lack of a quorum. Chairman Donald Shaneyfelt said he saw the issue now as "a political problem of ASUN." Another student, Bill Freudenberg, presented his ASUN committee's report on its relationship to CSL for the council's consideration. Most of the meeting was spent discussing fine points of the newly-drafted student discipline code. Ron Gierhan, head of UNL student discipline, and council members talked about whether some issues, football and traffic ticket regulations, should be included at all.
