Charity Carnival from 8-11
p.m. Saturday (postponed
from Thursday) in the
Women's Residence Hall
courtyard, to be followed by a
folk music concert. According
to the organizers, all proceeds
from the events (a water balloon
fight, bingo, ring tossing, etc.)
will go to the Lincoln Free
School.
Trash of the Thirties, a
cavalcade of live entertainment
and grade B film clips of the
Thirties, will be at 8 p.m.
Saturday in the Nebraska
Union ballroom.
State Sen. Fern Orme will
speak at the Home Ec Chapter
meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday in
101 Biochemistry and
Nutrition Building.
There will be an
international concert with acts
from Asia, Africa, Europe and
America starting at 7 p.m.
