Extension Division offers summer reading courses
About 50 Summer Reading Courses will be
offered by University departments through the
Extension Division this year, according to Edor
Ellingson, coordinator of evening classes.
Each of the courses is for one to three hours of
credit and a student may enroll for no more
than two courses.
Students should attend one of the spring
meetings for the summer reading courses which
are being held during late April and early May.
A complete schedule of the meetings is posted
on bulletin boards, or is available from the
Extension Division, 51 1 Nebraska Hall.
Registration for Summer Reading Courses
opens May 1 and closes June 16. Registration
can be done only at the Extension Division.
Tuition for the courses is $20 per credit hour
for Nebraska residents, and $21 per credit hour
for non-resident students.
