In addition to his public talk, Roedder will lecture to University geology classes on Monday and Tuesday. His visit to the UNL campus is the first in a series of Barbour-Schramm Memorial Lectures. These lectures, honoring two of the geology departments most distinguished professors, are underwritten by gifts from alumni who contributed to this program organized by the geology department and the NU State Museum. Roedder has been the principal investigator of the moon rock samples brought back to earth by the U.S. space program and recently has an opportunity to study Russian lunar samples. J Teachers set Monday meeting Discussion at the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) union meeting Monday is slated to center around the topic of salary inequities. An AFT analysis of faculty salaries and contract proposals is scheduled to be discussed. The contract proposals are designed to correct existing inequities and outline new salary guidelines. Eugene Freund, president of the AFT local at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, will report negotiations now underway between the University administration and the UNO union. The UNO local has asked for recognition as the bargaining agent for the UNO faculty. ' 4-H plans international fair Sword dancing, an international style show and films of several countries will be part of the second annual International Open House Sunday. The event is sponsored by the UNL 4-H Club and will be in the Activities Building on East Campus from 1 :20 to 5 p.m. An afternoon of continuous entertainment will begin with a sword dancing exhibition, karate and judo by Japanese Young Farmers, according to Erna Colglazier, open house general chairman. The International Women's Club is planning a style show featuring worldwide clothing styles. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Outreachers, a 4-H choral group, and foreign students will sing the folk music of their country. Folk dances of seven countries will also be presented. Films from Japan, China and Turkey will be shown. Donald Lentz, professor of woodwind instruments, will discuss Far Eastern music. He will also display part of his musical instrument collection. Discussion groups will be formed to discuss religions of the world and international aspects of environmental concerns. Slides will be used in the discussions. Fourteen booths containing picture displays, natural costumes, artifacts and films of different countries will also be on display.
