mandatory fee-now
activities-services fee-amounts
to $51.50 per semester for
student services such as the
Nebraska Union, The Daily
- Nebraskan and Health Center.
The Council also will
recommend to the chancellor
that one organization or office
be assigned the responsibility
for publishing the Campus
Handbook, which includes
information on student
payments.
The responsibility has
moved from office to office for
many years, resulting in
difficulty in obtaining
complete accurate information,
according to several Council
members.
The student fees committee
is continuing to study the
status of the $14.50 bond debt
retirement fee students
currently pay under mandatory
student fees. The Council
deferred action on several
recommendations regarding the
. debt retirement fee.
The Council will meet in
executive session next
Thursday to discuss CSL
actions with . Interim
Chancellor C. Peter Magrath.
The Council won't meet after
that until Jan. 25.
