Committee looks into pblicTeV At a retreat last weekend, ASUN's Human Rights Committee decided to look into the University's hiring policies to determine if they discriminate against minority groups, gay people and women, said chairman Ann Pederson. Other committee projects include attempts to obtain more University married student housing to free housing for Lincoln's low-income families, she said, and the expansion of the PACE low-income scholarship program. The committee will attempt to gain a larger commitment from the state for scholarship for low-income students, Pederson added. 9 p.m. PAGE 11 t v V i ) i i . r - 4 , -V V t. I'-
