About 4,000 rock afficionados jammed together to enjoy the four-hour show. Rosie and The Rockets, a local group, warmed up the crowd with a short set of fifties rock 'n roll. The night's second act, Ballin' Jack, brought the crowd to its feet with a combination of hard rock and jazz. Sugarloaf kept up the hard pace during their short set and left the stage to Quicksilver. The San Francisco-based quintet let the crowd lay back a little to enjoy their special brand of country-rock. There seemed to be few dissenting voices among those who crowded into the Auditorium for the concert. Photos by Gail Folda PAGE 7
