Tent City - for a couple weeks in August Lincoln's
low-income citizens rallied there.
About 100 of them occupied the vacant lot at 22nd and Vine
to protest that decent housing for low-income families is scarce or
non-existent in Lincoln.
Life went on for the tent dwellers with help from the Lincoln
Action Program, which provided them with food and water.
