Moody, who spent much of
his early performing career in
France and later was associated
with Dizzy Gillespie, is a
master of all his instruments -tenor
saxophone, alto
saxophone and flute. He is

flute virtuosity, and his ability
on that instrument, in the
opinion of most jazz
authorities, has earned him a
position as the instrument's
top player in the jazz field.
On the program, Moody is
heard in a unique arrangement,
of "I Got Rhythm," featuring
his flute, and in several of his
own compositions.
What about the rest of the
musical offerings? Well,
