The trip, which is open to both University students and faculty, will begin Friday at Dead Timbers Recreation Area near West Point and end at Scribner. "We don't care if anyone who wants to go has canoed before, we just want to have fun," intramural director Kermit McMurray said. "This trip will be a great chance to get out and see what nature has provided. Camping experience is not important." University cars will take the ten three-man canoes to West Point. AH other camping equipment will : also be provided. There will be an $8 fee for students and $12.50 for faculty for food. "We tried to set a reasonable rate, which almost anybody could afford," said McMurray. "We want to try and get girls interested in this too. And 1 want to emphasize again that this trip will be just a lot of fun."
