Catcher Randy Spiehs, who had been out with the flu, was back Saturday feeling better and he will start today. But shortstop Peter Betheli, who's been bothered by a sore arm, was still tender Saturday and is a questionable starter. If he cannot play, Tim Harris will take over at shortstop. Veterans Steve Achelpohl at second base, Pat Englert at first base, and Joe Baker in right field are all scheduled to start today. Footballers Frank Vactor and John Rodgers will play center and left field respectively. Relief specialist Bruce Cramer, who finished with Nebrasks's best record (5-1) last year, will see a lot of action in the series. Sharpe, though, forsees some problems in that the Stillwater workout was the Husker's first outdoor play this season.
