They will enter discussions of the procedures to guarantee the safety of all withdrawing troops. 5. The Americans pledge to end the imposition of Thieu-Ky-Khiem on the people of South Vietnam in order to insure their right to self-determination and so that all political prisoners can be released. 6. The Vietnamese pledge to form a provisional coalition government to organize democratic elections. All parties agree to respect the results of elections in which all South Vietnamese can participate freely without the presence of any foreign troops. 7. The South Vietnamese pledge to enter discussion of procedures to guarantee the safety and political freedom of those South Vietnamese who have collobrated with the U.S. or with the U.S.-supported regime. 8. The Americans and Vietnamese agree to respect the independence, peace and neutrality of Laos and Cambodia in accord with the 1954 and 1962 Geneva Conventions and not to interfere in the internal affairs of these two countries. 9. Upon these points of agreement, we pledge to end the war and resolve all other questions in the spirit of self-determination and mutual respect for the independence and political freedom of the people of V ietnam and the United States. The final sentence in the original USNSA treaty has been deleted from the referendum. It reads: "By ratifying the agreement, we pledge to take whatever actions are appropriate to implement the terms of this joint Treaty and to insure its acceptance by the government of the United States." Supporters of the treaty explained that the sentence was left out because the vote was not to ratify but only to Sheldon acquires paintings of Henri Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery officials Tuesday announced one of the most important acquisitions in the history of fhe gallery. Seven works by American painter Robert Henri have been added to the Sheldon collection. An entire gallery of painting and drawings by Henri are on display and seven of the works in the exibition are new acquisitions. Born Robert Henri Cozad, Henri was the son of the founder of Cozad, Nebr. Henri is regarded as an important figure in the development of Twenthieth Century American art. He remains the most important person associated with the visual arts in Nebraska's history. The Sheldon exhibition is considered one of the most comprehensive collections of Henri's work in any American museum. It covers almost the entire chronological range of his activity. Only the very earliest and the latest phases of his work are excluded. Id addition to the exhibition of Henri's works, a showing of brass rubbings is on display at the Sheldon Gallery now through April 4. Brass rubbings are made from old brass monuments to the dead. ACCORDING TO the USNSA pamplet, the treaty will be submitted to a wide range of schools, groups, and organizations for their ratification. "In addition," USNSA continued, "both official and unofficial groups and bodies are encouraged to append their own statements of the methods by which they intend to try to ' implement or enforce the treaty so that it will become necessary for the U.S. Congress and the Nixon Administration to follow the lead of the people ir making it a reality. In related business, Sen. Bruce Wimmer introduced a resolution calling for a student vote on whether or not the University's affilition with USNSA should be continued. WIMMER SAID student opinion on USNSA should be assessed in light of the organizations involvement in last year's strike and the treaty. The Senate refused to vote on the resolution Wednesday but it will be considered at next week's meeting. ASUN also voted to put the PACE issue on the ballot. Voters will able to choose between the PACE Committee plan (in which money is refundable after payment) and the Regents Committee plan (in which money is deductable from the tuition payment). The Senate also decided to ask University food services to buy only United Farm Workers of California lettuce. The action is a support of a nationwide boycott called by Cesar Chavez. ON BEHALF OF off-campus students ASUN voted to lobby in support of LB 902 and LB 898. The bills relate to selection of city housing Housing Authorities. In other business, ASUN approved the constitutions of the University Women's Action Group, the Institute for Political Analysis, and the Student's International Mcdition Society of the University of Nebraska.
