    Beauty and ecology blend with
the "Wind & Waves" haircut
The "Wind & Waves' hair
cut says hello to "au natur
elle" tresses, goodbye to con
trived, teased hairdos and
lacquered, rigid, aging, whip
ped cream coiffures! The new
awareness of the effect of en
vironment on beauty is the
most exciting fashion news
this year. We know con
ditioners, shampoos and other
treatments bring hair back to
health.
And now another discovery
... a haircut that adds to hair
health! It's "Wind & Waves"
for hair that looks and feels
like hair . . . soft, gleaming,
natural and beautiful!
The secret's in the cut that
follows the natural line of your
hair. This is the foundation of
all good hairstyling. Blower
brush drying, (beneficial

body and bounce. It also elim
inates long sessions under
dryers, takes less time in the
Salon and is a truly delightful
experience.
Versatility is the word for this
lively cut. Its liberated lines
adapt to a variety of today's
exciting new hairdos. Short or
shoulder length, it spells out
femininity, whether worn free
and flowing or curled gently
for special occasions.
Welcome winds of spring and
waves of summer . . . your
hair flows and moves; and
when you toss your pretty
head. . . it falls gently back
into place. A curler or two,
strategically placed may be
used to give added height and
a softer look at the crown.
So get with the "WIND &
WAVES" Haircut, its the
Environmental thing to do!

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING
Leader: Jess Cory
I simply have a very loose outline of how to pursue such a
course in a location as absurd as where we are. Who knows
what can happen?

WHERE: Piper Inner Lounge
NETHERLANDS-DUTCH LANGUUAGE
Leader: Waldemar de Rijk
Introduction to Dutch Language, and the country. Pace and
content of the course will be determined by its members. A
recommended text is Hugo's Dutch Simplified: it is definitely

WHERE: Sandoz Cafeteria
SUBSISTENCE FARMING
Leader: Jerry A nderson
Food is perhaps one of the last barriers to total freedom. With
this in mind we might talk about some of the production
problems as well as some of the economic hassles of land
control. I'm not into the communal thing (yet) but the topic
will no doubt evolve to this.
FIRST MEETING: Tuesday, March 23, 7:30
WHERE: Phi Mu, 1125 No. 16
ABSURD GAMES
Leader: Jeff Cory, Tom U'ishon
Absurd Games is a course meeting once a week for one hour to
teach interested students the intricacies of basic tension
relieving toys and games. Students will learn the finer points of
performing tricks with yo-yo's, bo-lo's and K-nockers. This course
is offered to act as a tension-reliever in the high strung
university atmosphere of studying. Students should have their
own yo-yo, bo-lo, or K-nocker, depending on what they would
like to master.
FIRST MEETING: Thursdav, March 18. 7:30
WHERE: Sigma Chi 1510 Vine
THE ART OF BREADMAKING

Learn basic recipes and techniques of yeast breads, quick
breads, and leavening other than yeast. Unleavened bread?
Maybe, yeast breads include sour-dough bread. Adaptives of
basic recipes for sweet rolls, zweiback could go into other
basic grain foods as noodles, dumplings, etc

will spend on each.

To explore the aspects of Vonnegut through his works, his
