Juicers, Kennedy upset The Juicers and Kennedy, each top rated in their divisions, were upset in the finals of the independent and dormitory championships at University High Tuesday night. But both teams will have a seond chance in the double elimination tournament against the same foes Wednesday. Abel VII defeated Kennedy, 47-44) in the dormitory division and the Born Losers trounced the Juicers 62-41, in the independent class. Each team now has one loss. Kappa Alpha Psi won the fraternity division with a 73-58 victory over Delta Upsilon and waltzed, into the all-university finals Sunday. The independent and dormitory champions. - which will be decided Wednesday, meet Saturday to determine the other all-university finalist. FRATERNITY Kappa Alpha Psi 73, Delta Upsilon SS Kappa Alpha Psi jumped off to a 13 point first quarter lead and maintained the margin throughout the game to defeat Delta Upsilon, 73-58, and take the championship of the fraternity division in the intramural! basketball tournament. Ernie Britt of Kappa Alpha Psi lead all scorers with 22 points and was followed by Ben Brown with 19 and Willie Harper had 15. Randy Lemke threw in 15 for the DlPs and Brent Longwell had 12. Kappa Alpha Psi now has a bye in the first round of the championship playoff to IM temms determine the University champion. They will play the winner of the independent dormitory championship game. DORMITORY Abel VII 47, Kennedy 44. Abel VII moved to an eight point half-time lead and then watched Kennedy come back and almost catch them before winning, 47-44. Both Abel VII and Kennedy now have one loss each in this double elimination tournament and will play Wednesday to determine the championship of the dorm division in the tournament. Bob Wolfe was high for Abel VII with 19 points and Rich Flanigan added 12. Greg Goerke scored 17 points to lead Kennedy. INDEPENDENT Born Losers 62, The Juicers 41 The Born Losers, after trailing early in the game, exploded in the second half for a 62-41 win over the Juicers in the independent divisions. The Born Losers outscored the Juicers 18-8 in the third period to take a 48-26 lead at the third quarter break. The Born Losers came up from the losers bracket and must defeat the Juicers again tonight at University High for the right to meet the dormitory champion Saturday. T. Domgard led a balanced scoring parade for the winners with 19 points while J. Loos added 17. The Juicers were lead in scoring by Jack Highstreet with 1 8 points. ASUN changes apportionment Apportionment for senatorial candidates in the ASUN election has been amended. The major change is the separation of Agricultu-e and Home Economics. Senators will now be elected separately for each college. The new breakdown includes: three senators representing Agriculture, nine from Arts and Sciences, four in Business Administration, four in Engineering and Architecture, two from Home Economics, five from Graduate and Professional and eight from Teachers College .oom will have to be rented at the individual's expense. NFU plans open meeting The Free U class "Future of the University" is holding an open meeting Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Union.
