make a decision. He said he expects a
final decision by Friday.
- Parties may be represented by
counsel. Those who are not students
will not be required to go before the
Tribunal, Gierhan said. But, he added
that they may w ant to appear because
they may want to become students
again in the future.
He said there was a possibility the
University will place a hold on the
non-student's registration if they
should try to register again. "We have
to look at all the legal implications."
Gierhan added.
Concerning the students who were
pladed on probation, Gierhan said
they would probably appear before
the Tribunal "at some future date. As
of yet the time is not determined.
The Tribunal will recommend
whether they should be taken off
probation status or if sanctions should
be applied, he said.
In addition to the list in
Wednesday's Daily Nebraskan Carl
Joseph Circo, an Arts and Sciences
student, is on probation. He was
placed on probation in Love Library
after its closing time Wednesday night.
Gary Schleiger, a Teacher's College
student, was put on probation twice,
once when he refused to leave the
chancellor's office and again
Wednesday evening when he briefly
refused to leave the Administration
Building at its closing time.
Gierhan said Schleiger's case is
more serious than the others.
