t TTfln - "v V 0' 7 'Sir r r" ' J , MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1970 . The Nebraska Union. A short cut to classes. A refuge from dripping skies. A place to stand in line for drop and add. A place to stand in line for buying books. A chance for a quick Coke break or a pleasant; leisurely meal. A mob of people to elbow your way through. A set of grandfather clocks that sometimes show the correct time. A row of bulletin boards screaming their messages. A formal meeting place for campus clubs. An informal meeting place for friends, acquaintances, strangers. But all these definitions just apply to the Union as a building a struc ture of brick and glass at the corner of 14th and R. The Union is much more than just a place. The Union is also pro grams and projects to create, exper ience and enjoy. See for yourself during Union Week. For this week and the rest of the year, the Nebraska Union is hours of film entertainment, relax ing concerts, student speakers to dis agree with, fashion showings to con sider, game tournaments just for fun, cultural growth through a mu sic and art library, thought-provoking discussion of current issues. This is the real Nebraska Union a hub of campus life. . .w.'i- . -1 ,'iws.r'.i' . 0 THE NEBRASKA! 1 !,: , v - f 4 t L . 1 'It ? f. I- 'r PAGE 5 -5'
