ness and suitability of their
dress at all times.
In selecting the b e s t
dressed coeds, judges will
be concerned with individu
al sense of the latest fash
ions and personal groom
ing, poise, and general over
all appearance.
Each living unit may sub
mit ten names. Women's
living units may nominate
a maximum of five from
their own unit. Coeds se
lected as finalists in past
years are eligible.
All nominations must be
submitted to the AWS office
in the Nebraska Union by
5 p.m. Friday.
The top 20 coeds nomin
ated will be notified Oct. 3
and official judging will be
Oct. 9-13. The best-dressed
coed will be selected by
judges independent of AWS.
Another change will be in
the awarding of trophies.
Winners will be limited to
first and second places and
these groups will be p r e
sented the traditional trav
eling trophies.
Plaques will be given to
the other groups in recogni
tion of being chosen as one
of the six to participate.
Board members felt that
this change would somewhat
erase the dividing line be
tween winners and losers.
Miss Kuester is the over
all chairman for the pro
duction. Jan McGill has
been appointed skitmaster
and the stage manager is
Susie Dietemeyer.
Signs displayed in front
of the living unit, signs
carried at the rally, and
identifiable dress also help
to determine the winner.
An overall spirit trophy
will be awarded to the liv
ing unit who has compiled
the most number of points
at the end of the basketball
season.
Points are given for win
ning the weekly rallies and
contests like the "Yell like
Hell" and "Knock 'em with
Noise," signs in front of the
living unit, and representa
tion at airport rallies.

IStudents Win Dates!
With Questionaire I
The 'winning personal
ities' of Ann Meyer and
Steve Curry have won them
selves dates with cele
brities for the Minnesota
Nebraska game Saturday.
Miss Meyer will be es
corted by Lee Majors, star
of TV's "Big Valley" and
Curry's date will be Sivi
Aberg, the current Miss
Sweden.
The date includes a lunch
eon before the game and
"something special" after
wards. University students en
tered the contest, sponsored
by Golds and Clairol, by fill
ing out personality question
naires during the first week
of school.
The questionnaires were
processed by a computer to
determine who was "best
suited to date a blonde."
"When I got the phone
call from Clairol I thought
someone was pulling a trick
Nebraskan
versity, where students are
searching for that which is
new and changing," he said.
Rev. Luetchens, married
and the father of two
young boys, attended West
mar College in Iowa and
attended the Evangelical
United Brethren Theology
School in Chicago.
FORMER DEAN
Breckenridge, who has
been the dean of students
at Hastings College, will be
counseling and teaching
part-time at the Wesley
Foundation while also serv
ing as the staff representa
tive to the Hungry Id, the
Foundation's coffee house.
"Mn Breckenridge has
led several conferences on
drugs. LSD and so forth,"
said The Rev. Duane Hut
chinson of the Wesley Foun
dation. on me," Miss Meyer said.
Curry said his reaction
was that he "was r e a 1 ly
pleased." "Even my barber
has asked me if I'm getting
all ready for the big date."
Neither winner could re
member the winning com
bination of the multiple
choice questionnaire.
Miss Meyer said she
chose an "exotic" frag
rance as her favorite scent,
while Curry liked a
"woodsy" scent best on a
girl. Miss Meyer, a sun
bleached blonde, said she
described herslef as "atten
tion getting" in the question
aire. Both, however, remem
bered that they "preferred
blondes."
