three historians, a Nebras
ka artist and art critic, a
folk singer and a news
paperman will be featured
speakers at the Nebraska
teach-in during ASUN Cen
tennial week Mary 1-5.
Centennial Commit
tee Chairman Elaine Kallos
said the speakers will be
conducting continuous lec
tures, talks and discussion
on Nebraska, its people,
resources and history in the
Nebraska Union lounge on
Thursday, May 4, the last
day of the campus celebra
tion of the state's 100th
birthday.
Also scheduled for Thurs
day is an inter-ethnic fes
tival sponsored by the IN
ternational Student Associ
ation, Miss Kallos said. The
festival will focus on the
contribution international
students have made to the
state, she said.
Other activities set for
Housing Discrimination Studied
A group of Lincoln citi
zens is investigating reports
of discrimination in renting
housing to University stu
dents and has asked that
students who have had ex
perience with the problem
contact them.
Mrs. Joyce Luke, chair
man of the Social Action
Committee of the Lincoln
Unitarian Church said rep
resentatives of 35-40 Lin
coln organizations are meet
ing to discuss the problem.
She said there have been
several reports that non
white students have been
