The buffet will be held at the First Christian Church, 15th and K Streets at 5:30 p.m. The meal will include for eign dishes from all over the world. Dolma, which is a Turkish dish of grape leaves stuffed with ground beef and rice, will accom pany fried rice from China and a nut and honey desert, baklawa, from Iraq. Names like chicken korma, bomia and Lebkuchen will also be on the menu. Mrs. Gardy Epp, buffet chairman, is also responsi ble for collecting the 277 recipes in the international cookbook. The idea came three or four buffets ago. Mrs. Epp said. "Everyone enjoyed the food and asked us how to make It." In choosing recipes Mrs. Epp studied foreign cook books and collected favorites from international students. Many of them were sub mitted to family approval before being included in the book. Some made it, some didn't, Mrs. Epp said. She had problems with others before they reached the table. One list of ingredients was submitted written partially in Japanese, Ger man and English. But it's in the cookbook, Mrs. Epp said. In choosing recipes, she paid special attention to the availability of ingredients. "Except for three included for curiosity's sake, every thing else has ingredients that can be obtained here in Lincoln," she said. Some of the recipes are a bit difficult, some very easy. Mrs. Epp cited an ex ample of a Dutch dessert that whips up in five min utes for unexpected guests. It inevitably brings compli ments, she said.
