Goulet will perform in con cert and program for both students and alumni as a part of alumni activities. Other major changes have been made in the Homecom ing activities, according to Cheryll Crosier, Tassels Homecoming chairman and Gary Larson, Corn Cobs Homecoming chairman. The candidates for queen will be chosen more on the basis of personality, appear ance and campus loyalty. There will be no over-emphasis on activities and scholar ship, according to Miss Crosi er, The queen and her attend- encompass a variety of serv ice activities performed by various organizations on cam pus. Work will range from cleaning windows and scrubbing floors to visit ing with people in these homes. Cantebury Club will work at the State Hospital. The UCCF will aid in loading trucks for the Salvation Army. Unicorns will assist at the Madonna Nursing Home. The Wesley Foundation, RAM and the Lutheran Student Associa tion volunteers will be aiding the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department. Kris Bitner, Rich Thompson and Gary Larsen are co chairmen of the event. Volunteers from groups oth er than those mentioned above who would like to help should call Gary Larsen at 432-9858 before 3:30 today. Union Study Rooms Open During Finals The Student Council Com mittee on Libraries has an nounced that study rooms will be available in the Nebraska Union during Dead Week and finals. Dr. Lundy, head of the li braries, had suggested that there was need for more study hall space outside of the present facilities. The Li brary Committee survey in dicated that forty-five per cent of the students polled would make use of additional space. Room numbers will be post ed in the Union.
