xMad, Mad Mania Expects Record Crowd

A record breaking crowd is
expected for the Kosmet Klub
fall show, "Mad, Mad Man
ia," tomorrow night, accord
ing to Buzz Brashear, Kos
met Klub ticket director.
Brashear said an expected
influx of parents for the game
and Parents Day is quite cer
tain to push the total higher.
Tickets will remain on sale
in the Union until game time
on Saturday, and there will
be some Kosmet Klub work
ers selling tickets outside the
stadium before and after the
game. Tickets will be on sale
at Pershing auditorium up un
til show time, but they will
cost $1.75, compared to $1.50
for tickets bought at the Uni
on before the show.
Before the snow and during
the intermission the audi
ence will have a chance to
vote for Prince Kosmet and

Nebraska Sweetheart. The
voting booths will be taken
down after the intermission
and representatives of the
Student Council will count the
ballots. The winners will
be announced and crowned
after the show.
The ten finalists for Prince
Kosmet are: Mike Barton,
Bill Poppert, Doug Tucker,
Stu Wiley, John Lydick, Lyle
S i 1 1 1 e r, Preston Love, Skip
Soireff, Kent McCloughan and
Dick Strand.
Competing for the honor of
being the Nebraska Sweet
heart are: Carol Biek, Joan
Skinner, Judy Jcobson, Peggy
Speece, Mary Morrow, Polly
Brown, Sally Wilson, Lynette sent out to everyone w h o

As part of their drive to en

tablished in the University of
Nebraska Foundation to as
sist unmarried, full-time un
dergraduate students at the
University who are members
of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

tion president, said the loan
fund was set up by the local
chapter's Alumnae Associa
tion, with Mrs. William Edge
comb of Lincoln as president.
Applicants for the loan must
be approved by the Uni
versity's general student loan
committee. The applicants
also must be in need of fi
nancial aid and have demon
strated scholastic and leader
ship ability in their chosen
field.
According to the trust agree
ment, the limit of each loan
will be determined by the
amount the borrower can
reasonably be expected to repay.
