"The senior year program," Peace Corps Director Sargent Shriver said, "represents a major effort on our part to increase the quality of Peace Corps training programs by encouraging juniors to start training while they are still in college." At both stages of training, there will be no cost to the trainee. Continued from Page 2 In reference to purpose number one girls who do not wish to study are not going to do so whether they are locked up or not. By the age of 21, the de cision on the study ques tion should hardly be a traumatic experience for a girl. It would be better to allow those non-studiers to go elsewhere so that the residence could have a "quieter" academic atmos phere. Who says that hours are going to protect girls' mor-. als? Did anyone stop to think that it is just as easy to commit these "immoral" acts before 11 o'clock as well as after? And that hours never did stop any one? Or are these ssts con sidered "immoral" only after 11 o'clock? By the time a woman has reached the age of 21, the age of legal responsibility, if she cannot decide, wheth er she needs to study, or whether she shouid kiss her date goodnight, it is about Future J-School Interns To Meet With Hall Today A meeting of journalism stu dents planning summer in ternship is scheduled today at 3:30 p.m. in Room 329, Ne braska Hall, according to Dr. William E. Hall, director of the School of Journalism. Requests for 1964 interns have come from more publi cations over a wider geo graphical area than in any time of the eight year history of the program. Dr. Hall added that the Personnel Director and As sistant Managing Editor of the "Miami Herald" will be on campus in February to inter view Journalism School juni ors for internships and seniors for full-time employment upon graduation. The exact date of these interviews has not been determined. Sophomores are welcome to attend this meeting. Dr. Hall said that every year there are more jobs listed than interns to fill them. Once the interns are placed sophomores desir ing job experience are given priority. time she flunked out and got some experience learn ing to say "no" if she gets the opportunity to be in such a situation at all. Voting to drop consid eration of such an import ant problem directly under the University's jurisdiction certainly seems strange. Or is there a problem at all? Maybe we should have an other all-campus poll? Anonymous Want Ads FOR RENT 152 Q on campus 3 room basement apt. $40 utilities paid. Sleeping room, to be shared with male. $17.
