en queen of the Junior Inter
fraternity Councils' annual
ball, held Friday night at East
Hills.
Miss Whitney, v unavailable
for comment, told her part
ner Brent Scott, president of
the Junior IFC, during the
queen's dance, "The inter
views were really tough. I'm
very flattered to have been
chosen a finalist I mean
queen," Miss Whitney cor
rected herself.
Scott said that the Queen's
face radiated her happiness
and surprise. "We were cer
tainly proud of her," he said.
The Queen was presented
with a trophy and a dozen
red roses. The other finalists,
Chris Perrin, Marilyn Mas
ters, Barb Gallup, all Kappa
Alpha Theta pledges, and
Mary Lee Jepsen, ot Alpha
Delta Pi received necklace
and earring sets.
