The spirit cf Thanksgiving takes root in the
leart of chiia in the came gradual fashion most
of us "have experienced.
First there is excitement and anticipation which
abundance awakens in our minds.
Then comes the pensive moment when -we real
ize that this abundance is Someone's gift to us.
Next we Toiow the prayer of gratitude that flows
from willing lips ana & thankful heart
Finally and supremely there is the sense
of confidence, of trust, in a God whose Love is
everywhere so manifest.
The hope of your neighborhood churches is that
your family's observance of tins traditional feast
may encourage the spiritual growth of your children
. . , and renew your own precious faith.
