Anderson, a gradu ate student at the University, who was named one of 60 re cipients of National Science Foundation (NSF) Fellow ships. The postdoctoral fellow ships, carrying an annual sti pend of $5,000, are awarded to persons who have demon strated ability and special ap titude for advanced training in the sciences. Anderson, 26, expects to re ceive his Ph.D. from the Uni versity next June and to use the NSF fellowship at Wash ington University's school of medicine. He plans to do re search concerning the struc ture and biosyntheses of bac terial cell walls.
