The game was a loosely
played affair with neither

from the floor but NU hav
ing an edge at the free throw
line 15-12.
Russell was the top scorer
for NU with IS points which
boosted his season's average
to 15.0 for the 17 games. The
veteran center-forward is
shooting a .550 percentage
with 77 baskets out of 140 at
tempts from the floor.
Swett and Petsch are also
averaging in double figures
with identical 10.1 averages
on 152 points in 15 games.
Swett had 13 in Monday's
game.
Three Huskers have pulled
in 100 or more rebounds with
Russell's 134 topping the list.
Grupe is next with 124 and
Sladovnik has 100.

ROTC quintet Monday. The
6-3 yearling tallied 24 points.
John Lloyd of Newark, N.J.,
who had been the number one
freshman scorer this season,
saw limited action in the pre
lim to the Oklahoma State
Nebraska battle. Grades will
keep Lloyd ineligible second
semester.
