The only league win for both schools came against Kansas state. Nebraska defeated the Wild cats 17-7 earlier in the season and Oklahoma State got its first league win a week ago with a 28-7 victory over Kan sas State. Runners reDresentinz Ne braska are Rav Stevens. Bill Kenny, Clarence and Joe acott, Rich luer, ana Paul Nielsen. Last weekend Nebraska won the Midwest AAU four mile run in Omaha. At this meet Stevens set a new rec ord for the course with a 21:06. Stevens also lias the best time for the Huskers on the home course with a 15:13.5. This season Nebraska won meets from Colorado, Iowa State and Drake, and lost to Kansas State and Missouri. Kansas with Bill Doison. Kirk Hagan, Bill Hay ward. Bob Linrud, Billy Mills, and Ted Reiseinger is favored to dominate the cross country run for the 14th straight year. Missouri, led by unbeaten Bob Henneken, will give the Jayhawks a fight for the championship. Henneken will be backed up by teamm?tes Ray Schmitz, Joe Schroeder, Don Gabbert, Morris Patter son. The Kansas State freshmen are undefeated this year aft er holding the Kansas grid ders to a 0-0 tie at Manhat tan, October 27. The Hnsker frosh tripped the Iowa State freshmen last Friday 7-6 on a fourth quarter drive engineered by Iowa prep star, Charles Doep- ke. K-State freshman coacl. Ed Dissinger says the Wildkit tens are "ready to play ready to give a good account of themselves," and has moved two Nebraska prep stars into the starting line-up.
