IFC. Ru
Over 400 of the men par
ticipating in the IFC Rush
weeK nave pledged fraterni
ties.
The 400 constitute 80 of
the bovs eoine through Rush
according to IFC President
Marty Sophir.
Sophir attrilMited the suc
cess of Rush Week to the
new fraternity rush system.
The system featured the hous
ing of all rushees at Selleck
Quadrangle and required
them to visit all the frater
nity houses.
The opportunity of visiting
all the fraternities helped
rushees realize that each
house had something to offer,
Sophir said.
Praise
He commented, "Both the
fraternities and rushees came
up with praise for the new
system and were pleased with
the operation. Rarh
cooperated excellently and we
also had excellent cooperation
from the Selleck officials."
Open Rush for fraternities
will begin Tuesday at 5 p.m.
However, no pledging can
lake place for 30 days from
that date.
