The win was an expensive one for the Husker's as they suffered the loss of their stellar performer, Phil Hall. As Hall was going through his routine on the rings, he whipped and fell to the mat. Coach Jake Geier said that the fall dislocated Hall's el bow and that he would be confined to limited work on the trampoline for the rest of the year. The Cowboys added the ic ing to their victdry in the late minutes when they dropped six straight free tosses through the nets.
