According to T u r n e r the team to beat this year in the Big Eight Conference will be Kansas, but don't forget Kansas State, Oklahoma and Mis souri," said Turner. The Husker crowd-pleaser was quick to add that the Scarlet and Cream would be close to the top of the heap at the end of the season. "We can shoot and run with the best of them, I know that as a fact," said Turner. Although Hersch thought the Minnesota club was a tough one he felt that Ne braska's next two games against Notre Dame and Michigan State w i 11 be even rougher for the Big Red. Turner considers beating Kansas and Kansas State during his sophomore year and playing against Oscar Robertson in high school as his two greatest thrills. "I'll never forget beating those two Kansas teams," said Turner. This week's star added that he will always remember scoring 40 points in two eames a?airrst the "Biff 07 in two consecutive years while playing for Shortridge high school. "I have played ball against Oscar ever since I was in the seventh grade. I sore hope we can play some pro fessional basketball together after we graduate' said nn The commercial art major picked Nebraska after he had been contacted by more than 10 schools including Michigan State, Indiana, Kentucky, and Iowa. "I know I made the right choice," said Turner. Phone HE 2-4284 p.m. of
