The big question mark for
Nebraska is the fullback situ
ation where Don Fricke and
Noel Martin are ort the in
jured list. Both worked out in
sweat cloths Thursday, and
their status for the Jayhawk
game was doubtful.
If Fricke and Martin are
sidelined, the Huskers will be
using Bob Kitchen and Bill
Bohanan at the fullback post.
Both ar transfers from other
positions.
Halfback Carroll Zaruba,
guard Don Olson, quarterback
Tom Kramer and tackle Joe
Gacusana worked in pads,
Thursday, but their availabil
ity is also a question mark.
Nebraska has a 2-1 record
and the Jayhawks come into
the game with a 1-2 mark.
"We're going to have to score
more than we did last week.
They have a real fine of
fense," commented Jennings
in regard to the Jayhawks.
