Col orado edged the Huskers by one-third of a point in a fight angular at Lincoln. Some of the Huskers have turned in top performances during workouts this week. Ken Pollard valuted 14-5 in Monday's practice session. Don Phillips ran the luu-yd. dash in :09.7 and Al Wellman threw the shot 50 feet 9 inches and the discus 165 feet. These throws are Wellman's top marks this year. Pollard hadn't been ahl t.n regain top form since he took a Daa turn Die while the team was in the South for spring only one point in the 220-yd. dash and they were shut out in the century. Last week the Buffs won the Colorado Relays which they annually host. The hosts copped four of five relay events and set records in each. This was the twenty second title the Buffs had won in 35 previous meets, vacation.
