Monday, February 16, I9s9 Nebraska Wrestlers Win First Ths University of Nebraska resiling squad racked tip Its first victory of the season Thursday night, winning the last five matches to topple Fort Hays, Kansas State, 21 15 at the Nebraska Coliseum. Fort Kays won the first three matches to pile up a 15-0 lead over the Huskers, but Harold Thompson, Gail Baum, Norlin Cooper, Ken Lott, and Pat Fltxgerald brought the Cornhuskers from behind to win the match. Harold Thompson started the comeback when he pinned Terry Jackson of Fort Hays In 4:28. Gail Baum copped a 6-4 dc c i s i o n. Heavyweight Fitzgerald also won by de cision. Norton Cooper won his match by default when his man was unable to continue the bout, while Ken Lott, pinned Merle Miller in 3:46. , Dale VaUioka of Fort Havs scored an unusual pin over shut out.
