The Grizzlies,! who man
aged to finish fifth in the Sky
line Conference last year, will
be playing Nebraska in the
first of several road, games
which includes Colorado on
Monday night.
Although the Montana State
team finished low in their
conference last year it is not
a true indication of their abil
ity. They beat all the teams
that finished ahead of them,
but managed to split with
teams lower in the final
standings. Last year they
started the season fast by
whipping Utah in their first
conference test, but fell down

Cox won three Skyline
titles and the National Invi
tational Title in 1940 while at
Colorado. After resigning at
Colorado, Cox was a cattle
rancher in Kansas for five
years before inking a Mon
tana contract in 1955.
This year Cox will have,
three starters from last year,
Dunhva, Suttles, and Balko,
going against the Huskers.
These are the same three that
helped the Grizzlies get off
to a 4-1 conference start last
year before a midseason letdown.
