Missouri Saturday
Nebraska will be out to pro

country mark when they meet
the Missouri Tigers in Lin

Last weekend the Tigers

finals 13-6 by Hitchcock.
Wednesday they were out
pointed by Farmhouse 7-6 in
the Ag title game.
Farmhouse struck first in
the closely-contested game.
Don Heucrman threw a long
pass to Dick Frahm who had
slipped behind the Van Es
secondary to make the grab
and run the last five yards
of the 40-yard scoring play.
Don Geisler, unable to find
any open receivers on a pass
attempt, ran for the all-important
extra point.
The score at halftime was
7-0. After intermission Van
Es buckled down on defense
forcing Farmhouse to punt
twice from its own end zone.
Farmhouse penetrated once
to the Van Es 6-yard line be
fore giving up the ball on
downs.
The Burr Hall champs
surged back on a drive that
was climaxed by a 35-yard
touchdown pass from Gregg
Worthing to Ray Abraham
son. The extra point pass try
was blocked.
Van Es threatened on the
last series of downs. The con
test ended with the ball in
Van Es possession on the
Farmhouse 8-yard line.

Quarterback
Harshman
Lauded
George Harshman was cited
by the Associated Press' Mid
lands All American Board for
backs.
Harshman was praised for
his performance against Colo
rado. Harshman scored one
touchdown, passed for an
other, kicked one extra point,
and. booted a field goal.
Probably even more note
worthy than Harshman's
scoring was his punting. In
the third quarter, the senior
quarterback had to punt on
four successive downs when
Nebraska was offside three
straight times. All four punts
were within the 12 yard line
of the Buffs. His fourth rolled
dead on the Colorado 1.
