Folk Singer Billed
For 3rd 'Artist' Show
A young folk singer, Dylan
Todd, will appear July 2, 8
o'clock, at the Union Ball
room in the third concert of
the Summer Artist Series.
The Kentuckian is a pro
duct of the Cincinnati Con
servatory and for two yearsr
he travelled through New
York, Florida and California
doing odd jobs and playing
where he could.
Todd returned to New York
in 1954, and began appearing
on such shows as "Camera
Three", "The Garry Moore
Show", and "The Ernie Ko
vac Show".
Admission to these Summer
Artist Series concerts is free.
More than 700 people at
tended the concert last week,
according to Bob Handy,
Union Activities Director.

A special summer session
ic skating party for all stu
dents, faculty, administrative
personnel will be held at the
Lincoln Pershing Municipal
Auditorium June 30 at 7 p.m.
Special reduced rates of 35
cents will be charged and
skate rental will be 35 cents.
Ice skating parties are sim
ilar to roller skating parties
with special music and games,
professional instructor and re
freshments.
The party is limited to 100
people so it is wise to sign up
immediately on the bulletin
board in the Union Activity
office said Bob Handy, Union
Activities Director.
