Workshop
Clarifies
Questions
AWS Explains
Policies, Hours
Better coordination of the
dorms and sororities was only
one of the problems tackled
by the AWS workshop last
night
How to promote gracious
living and a panel &srassion
to make AWS policies clearer
were other high points in the
workshop.
Marflv PicketL AWS Dub-
licity chairman, said the sug
gestion was made that tne
freshman AWS workers take
back what they learn at board
meetings to the -dorms.
Bulletin boards in bouses
posting cultural events was
one of the remedies suggested
for promoting more '"gracious
living on campus.
In a panel discussion, lover
night rules came under fire.
Questions arose as to why it
was not possible to have six
interchangeably ""overnights"
during the semester instead
of 3 in town and 3 ut-oi-itown.
The answer, Miss Pickett
said, is that there bad been
too many Lincoln overnights
taken.
Other points brought out in
the discussion was that any
coed having over 89 hours
could ikeep senior hours, that
is, stay out omtil U p.m. on
week nights.
