The special invest iga tor hired to study the handling
of the Charles Stai-kweather case. Harold Robinson, has
reported that he found the law enforcement adequate with
no sign of laxity.
The investigator's findings were outlined in a
report to city and county officials.

Lyndon B. Johnson, Senate Democratic Leader, said Sun
day veto of a proposed farm price support bill by President
Eisenhower would be a "crushing blow to agriculture."
Johnson said the veto would force farm prices down to
new lows. While profits in wages in other fields have gone
up in the past 6 years, farm income has slumped 20 per cent,
he said.
