Queen Contest
Peanuts Queen will be selected
at the Peanuts Party to b held
Friday night at 7:30 p.m. In the
Selleck Quad dining room, ac
cording to Nancy Spilker, chair
man. Candidates for the title are
being named in each of the organ
ized houses on campus and the
queen will be elected on a basis
of both pennies contributed and
the number of persons voting.
A trcphy will be presented to
the queen and the proceedings will
go to help support the co-sponsors
of the activity, City-Campus
YWCA and RAM Council, Miss
Spilker said.
Johnny Cox will provide tha
music and the dining room will
be decorated with the then of
the Peanuts comic atrip.
Admission is 50 cents per per
son according to Miss Spilker.

More Honors
Dr. Joseph Burt, dean of the
College of Pharmacy and presi
dent of the America:! Pharma
ceutical Assaciation, received two
additional honors in recognition of
his contribution to pharmacy.
Last week he was elected presi
dent of the Pan-American Federa
tion of Pharmacy and Biochemistry
in Washington, D.C., succeeding
Dr. Antenor Rangel of Rio de
! Janeiro, Brazil.
The University of Wisconsin's
! Board of Regents presented Dr.
Burt with a citation in conjunction
with the Wisconsin Pharmaceutical
Seminar held in celebration of the
1 75th anniversary of the Univers
ity's School of Pharmacy.
