Swarms of wasps caused a crisis
Wednesday when they gathered
around the main doors of the Union
blocking the entrance of the stu
dents, according to G. C. McKeen,
head of the custodian department
of the Union.
McKeen, in an attempt to kill
the insects, sprayed the area
around the doors.
When the spray failed to kill the
insects, the University campus up
keep department was notified. Us
ing a spray containing pyrethrum,
the men from the Upkeep Depart
ment sprayed the front of the build
ing and the bushes surrounding
