Recently earned Miss Rodeo America at the Golden Spur Inter national Rodeo in Chicago, the publication saluted Miss Hunt as an expert cowgirl. ""Dallas has taken occasional leaves from col' lege to compete in rodeos, preside at stockmans balls, and tour Bra zil," said Seventeen. Miss Hunt was also chosen Miss Rodeo Nebraska in 1956, National High School Rodeo Queen in 1955, and Homecoming Queen of Lincoln High in 1955. YWCA Gains 125 Members At Meeting "As a result of the annual upper class rendezvous, held Thursday, membership in the city-campus YWCA was increased by 125 mem bers," stated Barb Sharp, presi dent. At the rendezvous, which is an informal coffee, the upperclass women met the officers, cabinet and executive director of YWCA. Members who wish to belong to a committee may join any of the following committees: Campus Af fairs, Public Affairs, Student-Faculty Coffee Hour, Faith, Love and Marriage, Noon Discussion, Public Relations, Christmas Bazaar, Serv ice Projects and Comparative Re ligion. The deadline for submission of i verse by ttachers and librarians j to the National Teachers Anthol-1 ogy m ill be Jan, 1, 1958. Any student attending college is eligible to submit his verse for in clusion in the student anthology. There is no limitation as to form or theme, but shorter works are preferred, the association an nounced. There are no fees or charges for either acceptance or submis sion of verse. Each poem must be typed or printed on a separate sheet, and must bear the name and home address of the students as well as the name of the college he attends.
